Celestial Mirrors is a reflective role-playing experience. It is designed to help users explore inner worlds and collective fields of presence. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

2. Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old in the United States or 16 years old in the European Union to use this application. We do not knowingly collect personal information from users under these ages. If we learn that a user does not meet the minimum age requirement, we will delete their data.

• Email address (for login via magic link)
• Name (optional, entered by the user)
• IP address and installation metadata (for authentication and security)
• User-submitted content including reflections, intentions, and journal-like entries
• Astrological data (time and location, used to generate responses)
• Analytics data (user flow, retention, engagement via Mixpanel)
• Payment and subscription status (from Apple App Store or Google Play)
• Purchase history (subscription status via RevenueCat)

4. How We Use Your Data

Your data helps shape your personal and collective experience in Celestial Mirrors. While your input influences the field, it is never explicitly shown to others. We use your data:

• To authenticate your login and track your journey
• To personalize content, rituals, and experiences
• To generate responses via OpenAI’s large language models
• To analyze usage patterns (Mixpanel) to improve the experience
• To verify purchases and manage subscriptions via Apple or Google
• To manage subscriptions and unlock premium features (RevenueCat)

5. Where Your Data Goes

Your data may be shared with the following service providers:

• Supabase – for authentication and data storage
• Postmark – to send magic link login emails
• Fly.io – for processing time/location requests to generate astrological data
• Mixpanel – for analytics
• OpenAI – to generate text-based responses to your reflections
• Apple App Store and Google Play – for processing in-app purchases and account authentication
• RevenueCat – to manage in-app purchases and subscription status

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for targeted advertising.

6. How We Protect Your Data

We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data, including encrypted connections and secure authentication. Only authorized systems and personnel can access user data.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Request deletion of your data
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Object to the use of your data for analytics (Mixpanel)

8. Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide the service. If you stop using the app, your data may be deleted after a period of inactivity. You may request deletion at any time.
